Obituary for Philip Wayne Linthicum

Philip Wayne Linthicum
Philip Wayne Linthicum, 51, born November 21, 1966, of Mt. Airy, Maryland passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Dove House in Westminster, Maryland after a valiant battle with diabetes and chronic kidney disease. His firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.

Phil graduated from Damascus High School in 1984 then entered the army where he was stationed in Germany. Phil was a gifted musician and played in several local bands. He owned and operated a ServiceMaster before leaving the workplace because of health issues. He'd devoted the past few years to writing, a passion of his, and completed the first book of a trilogy.

He is survived by his children, Victoria, Philip Sheridan and Lauren, father Philip Lee, brothers Mark and Tony, former spouse Carmen, numerous cousins, and beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy.

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Hyattstown U.M. Church 26121 Frederick Road Clarksburg, MD 20871.
Arrangements by Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A.
