I met Brian in 2000 on the set of The District. I was pursing acting as a hobby to keep me sharp when I was away from the courtroom. Brian always tried to get me to do it full time. He was so supportive. Brian was a great motivator and tried to look out for me. He recognized the dearth of opportunities for black actors before it was a hot topic. He always tried to looked out for me. Whenever he saw something involving an African American male or a lawyer he would send it to me. I'm glad I got to spend some time with him over the last couple of years. He will be sorely missed.

Forever grateful for Brian, his life, kindness, energy and his passion to make a difference in the lives of so many actors and crew in the MidAtlantic. Not many would work so tirelessly for so many others and be so selfless. Like countless others, he is the reason I was able to get my start in film and later in life to boot! You all are on my mind and heart as you celebrate his life today and what he has meant to you. Wish I could be there with you! I'm there in spirit today and will with you cherish his life and impact always!
