He was the Beloved husband of Stephanie Betsy.
Devoted father and stay at home Dad to his 3 children Seraphine Lee Gartrell, Ashton Statham-Scott Gartrell and Samara SherriLee Inez Gartrell.
He was born October 31, 1984 in Westminster, MD the son of Ashley S. and Melissa A (Hess) Gartrell.
His hobbies included Patriots Football, cigars, playing music, and collecting vintage war relics. He loved to cook for his family and teach his children how to pray. He was a lifelong member of Stoney Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. He was Saved on June 30, 1991 and was Baptized on July 14, 1991. Aaron had a wonderful, but unique, sense of humor.
Also surviving in addition to his wife, children and parents are Sister and Brother-in-law Holly and Tyler Long of Union Bridge, Grandmother Ruth Hess of New Windsor, Niece and Nephew Anna and Logan Long and a host of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Preceded in death by Grandparents Riley and Arta Gartrell, Sr. and Uncle Tommy Gartrell.
The Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 6 to 8 PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A., 1212 Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 where funeral services will be held Thursday 12 noon. Interment Bethany Cemetery, New Windsor, MD
