Ada Gettier

Ada Althea Burke Stallings Gettier 90 of Westminster formerly of Catonsville, died Saturday June 9th 2012 at Bethania Home Care in Westminster. She was the spouse of the late Donald Edward Stallings who passed in August of 1973 and the spouse of the late Earle T. Gettier who passed in August of 1996. She was born May 12, 1922 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late Charles Burke and the late Ada Pinder Burke. She was a Cashier for the Social Security Administration; a member of Church of the Open Door, very active in Westminster’s Senior Center and was crazy about Country Line Dancing. Surviving her are Daughter and Son-in-law Patricia and Steven Snyder of Finksburg, Son and Daughter-in-law Donald and Darlene Stallings of OH, Daughter and Son-in-law Nancy and Bill Werking of New Windsor, Brother John Warren Burke of Joppa, MD Grandchildren Michele Miller, Jason Benbow, Daniel, Rachel, Matthew, Andrew, David and Nathan Werking. Great-grandchildren Flyn Markwitz and Tyler and Avery Benbow. Friends may call Tuesday June 12, 2012 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A. 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd.
