Died Sunday August 17, 2014 in Hospice Care at Golden Living in Westminster.
He was born June 30, 1954 in Washington, DC the son of the late John William Collins and the late Ella (Hollifield).
Most recently he worked at Weis grocery store in Mt. Airy.
He was a car enthusiast, Interested in History and Firearms.
Surviving him are Son Alan Keith Collins, Jr and Wife Michelle of TN Daughters Melissa and Husband Ike Rettenmair of New Port, NC and Mallory Collins of Wilmington, NC
Sisters Patricia Fitze of Mt. Airy and Tina Eva Joyce of Randallstown.
Grandchildren, Gabrielle, Emersyn and Eleanor Rettenmair
Preceded in death by Sister Tamara Dawn Martinez.
