Albert Ludwig

Albert “Leroy” L. Ludwig, Sr., 88 of Randallstown, MD passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at his home.
He was the beloved husband of the late Noreita Marie Ludwig (nee Oates).
He was born February 28, 1935, in Randallstown, MD the son of the late Albert S. Ludwig and the late Maude Ludwig (Triplett).
He worked for BG & E for 35 years and finished his career as an investigator of Theft before his retirement. Leroy was a Veteran of the United States Army and served in Paris, France. He was an avid Baltimore Colt’s, Orioles and Ravens fan; and was a player/coach in the Carroll County Senior Softball league. Leroy enjoyed fishing in Delaware Bay and hunting in Maryland with his brother Twig, and Lee, Jr. and Billy Allen.
He is survived by his sons Albert Leroy “Lee” Ludwig Jr., and Brian Ludwig and wife Beth; a granddaughter, Holly L. Ludwig; seven step-grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; brother Harold “Twig” Ludwig and wife Peggy; companion Jane Richardson and survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield, MD 21784, where funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 11 AM with Pastor Steven Cho.
Interment at Lake View Memorial Park.
