Alfred Joseph “Allie” Hohman, age 87 of Taylorsville, died Friday, November 20, 2015 at the Dove House.
He was born October 19, 1928, in Randallstown, MD; the son of the late William M. Hohman & the late Agnes (Migan) Hohman.
Al was a contracts manager for Bendix/Allied Signal Corporation. Mr. Hohman was a US Army Vet. He was a volunteer at the Carroll County Food Sunday and an officer and life member of the Randallstown American Legion post 122. He was an avid gardener, fisherman, and sports fan. He was a former coach in the Pikesville Little League. Al was a kind man of strong faith who was a friend to everyone he met.
He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Weber) Hohman for 61 years.
Al is also survived by his daughter Karen & husband Ed Herald of Waynesboro, PA, his son Gary Hohman of Rumbley, MD; and his grandchildren Kristen ( Michael) Szynal and Kimberly Fitzgerald.
He was preceded in death by his 8 siblings Edward, Carroll, Bernard “Bunny”, Urban, John Hohman, Ruth Smith, Rose Kammer and Mary Wayson.
He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will take place on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Lake View Memorial Park 2724 Liberty Rd. Sykesville, MD 21784. Online condolences at www.burrier-queen.com
