Alma J. “Gram” Duvall, age 86, of Westminster, formerly of Woodstock, died Thursday May 6, 2010 at Carroll Hospice-Dove House in Westminster, MD. She was born August 13, 1923 in Alberton, Maryland, the daughter of the late Eva L. Bourne. She was the wife of the late Walter B. Duvall. She was a Housewife. She was a charter member of Hope Rebekah Lodge in Granite, MD She was a member of Gary Memorial U.M. Church in Ellicott City, MD. She sang in the choir and taught Sunday school. She was an avid bowler and card player. Surviving are a daughter and son in law Beverly and Dale Wonderly of Westminster; a son and daughter in law Ronald and Kathy Duvall of Stewartstown, PA; daughter in law Cheryl Duvall of Ellicott City wife of the late son John Duvall; Also survived by six grandchildren; Cynthia Brown, Amy Miller, Steven Duvall, Kelly Jarvis and their spouses and Philippe Duvall and Jean-Luc Duvall.; seven great grandchildren, Chris, Wyatt, and Kendall Miller, Kaelyn and Andrew Duvall, Travor Jarvis and Patrick Brown.; two sisters Jane Derrick and Eva Weigel and one brother Edward Bourne; sister in law Anna May Showalter. Also predeceased by siblings Doris Orth, Susie Bourne and Charles Bourne. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield, (Beside South Carroll High School) on Monday, May 10, 2010 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Luther Starnes of Gary Memorial U.M. Church in Ellicott City, MD officiating. Interment Lake View Memorial Park.
