Ann Woodcock

Ann Ella Woodcock went to be with Lord on June 28, 2018 at the age of 91. She passed holding the hand of her loving husband, Fred Woodcock at the Carroll Lutheran Village in Westminster, Maryland. Ann was born Nov. 2, 1926 in Kansas City, Missouri and was the only child of Vicki and William Schrager. She married at the age of 18 to Robert G. Krop in Washington, DC and would spend the remainder of her life in the Washington, DC / Maryland area. Ann had 6 children whom she was completely devoted to. She studied ballet where she performed, taught and supported her entire life. She was a gifted teacher and an incredible mother and friend. In 1975 she married Fred Woodcock where she began the 2nd leg of her journey. Together they travelled the country by motorhome, took several incredible trips, including Hawaii, experiencing one adventure after another. Most of all Ann will be remembered as a loving, devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great, Great Grandmother, Aunt and friend. She was beautiful, kind, gracious, fun loving, smart, an all around remarkable lady who will be greatly missed. Our loss here on earth is Heaven’s gain. She is still watching over all and lives in all of our hearts.

Ann is survived by her husband of 43 years, Fred Woodcock, seven children: Barbara Crowl and husband Gary Crowl, Diane Wilder and husband Jimmy Wilder, John Krop and wife Diana Krop, Carolyn Freas and husband Richard Freas, Robert Krop and wife Wendy Krop, Richard Krop and wife Tyleen Krop, Karen Bates, 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and countless friends.

A memorial service will be held at The Carroll Lutheran Village chapel with Reverend Jimmie Schwartz., Friday August 3rd at 4:00
