Anna Margaret “Maggie” Belt (nee Engle), age 87, of Westminster, died Friday, May 20, 2016 at her home peacefully after an extended illness.
She was born August 21, 1928 in Frederick, Maryland, the daughter of the late Charles C. Engle and the late Gladys Steele Engle.
She owned her own business American Tree Expert Company, enjoyed her grandchildren and gardening and watching soaps and football.
She was the wife of the late Ernest A. Belt.
She was the mother of Richard Runkles, Donna Kay Cobun, and the late Thomas Runkles and surviving son-in-law Lloyd Cobun; sister of Nancy Geiger, Charlotte Griffin and the late Dorothy Stanton, late Frances Engle, late Sonja Phillips, late Charles Engle and late Judy Arrington; also survived by Clint, Tina, Kody and Konnor Walker, whom they lived with “Mom-Mom”, and survived by 4 grandchildren Scott Walker & wife Candy, Melissa Weeks, Patty Duh, and Richie Runkles and 4 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road (Beside South Carrol High School) on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM; where Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 11:00 AM.
Interment Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
