Anna Carman

Anna “Betty” Carman (nee Brinsfield), age 86, of Baltimore, Died Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. She was born August 4, 1924 in Secretary, MD, the daughter of the late James Merritt Brinsfield and Thelma Murphy Brinsfield. She was a clerk at Woolworth’s Department Store. She was in the US coast guard. She was the mother of James H. Carman and wife Jan, JoAnn Schurtleff and husband Robert of Calhoun, Colorado and the late William Joseph Carman. Loving grandmother of Terri Schurtleff and Steven Schurtleff. Former wife of Joseph Carman. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield, (beside South Carroll High School) on Tuesday from 6-8 PM. Interment Lorraine Park Cemetery in Woodlawn, MD. Funeral Service will be held at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA on Wed. April 13, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Rev. O.F. “Bud” Kibbe officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to favorite charity of choice.
