Anna Lovell

Anna Mae Barnes Lovell, age 102, of Frederick, MD, passed peacefully Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at her home.
She was born April 11, 1915 in Westminster, MD., the daughter of the late Vernon H. Barnes and the late Grace Owings Barnes.
She was the beloved wife of the late Sterling C. Lovell.
She was a Cafeteria Aide at South Carroll High School for many years.
Surviving are three daughters Mary Frances Lewis of Tempe, AZ; Kathleen Ann Cole of Long Island, NY; Carolyn Joy Ellis of Frederick; and two sons: Gary Ellsworth Lovell of Tampa, FL; and Larry Wayne Lovell of New Windsor. She was preceded in death by daughter Virginia Mae Clelland of Pittsburgh, PA. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD (Beside South Carroll High School) on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM; where Funeral Service will be held at on Friday June 2, 2017 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. James U.M. Church Cemetery, Dennings, MD.
