Anna Carrie Spittel (nee Kaiss), age 91, of Westminster, MD, died Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Carroll Hospice, Inc.-Dove House in Westminster, MD.
She was born March 17, 1922 in Pumphrey, Maryland, the daughter of the late Frederick Henry (Mimmler) Kaiss and the late Phyllis Frances Perry Kaiss.
She was the wife of the late Gordon H. Spittel
She was a Homemaker and she volunteered for over 20 years as a patient representative at Northwest Hospital and in admissions at Carroll Hospital Center, very active in “Ladies Homemakers of Randallstown” and “Ladies auxiliary “at Carroll Hospital Center. She was very active and sang in the church choir at St. James Lutheran Church. She enjoyed sewing, ceramics, cooking and baking.
She was the mother of Barbara and husband Curtis Fahsholz, Deborah Spittel, and the late Gordon H. Spittel, Jr., dear sister of-Phyllis Jane Ford and the late Henry Frederick Kaiss, loving grandmother of Rachel Lynn Bournival, Andrew Curtis Fahsholz and Jessica Lynn Pickett.
