Arthur G. Beall was born July 14, 1917 in Woodbine, MD to the late Clennie and the late Elsie Green Beall. He went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 6, 2015.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Janet Beall, daughters Elsie Brosenne, Linda McDonald, son in law Norman Brosenne, brothers Stephen Beall, Maurice Beall, sister Katie Mae Fiddler, and granddaughters Janet Lydia Seal and Norma Jean Brosenne.

He is survived by son in law Charles McDonald (Elsa), grandchildren, Larry Brosenne, Jimmy Brosenne, Artie McDonald (Pat), Judy Lugen (Tom), Heather Zell (Rob), Shawn Brosenne (Misty). He is also survived by great grandchildren Michael Cassell (Becky), Amber Gordon, Chelsie Seal, Jordan Zell, Gabriel Zell, Anna Schneider (Michael), Shawna Brosenne, and great great grandchildren Jeleah Kimball and Dailyn Cassell as well as many nieces and nephews and dear friend Rich Englar.

Arthur grew up in Woodbine MD and was an auto mechanic before joining the Army to serve as a Combat Engineer 1266 Combat Battalion 3rd Army overseas in World War II as a Corporal. Upon his return from the war, he and his wife decided to go to nursing school and became licensed practical nurses. He retired from Rosewood State Hospital in 1977.

Arthur was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War Post 467, the American Legion and Lifelong Member of The National Rifle Association. Mr. Beall was also a member of Ward’s Chapel United Methodist Church 11023 Liberty Rd., Randallstown, MD 21133 and requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the church. As he expressed in his words “flowers soon fade away, but this church goes all out to help the needy”.

The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to the staff of Homestead of Sun Valley, Jill Rosner, and Jackie Serra for their dedicated care to Mr. Beall.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, March 9 at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, at the funeral home. Pastor John Nupp, of Ward’s Chapel United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment Lake View Memorial Park. Online Condolences at www.burrier-queen.com
