Asa Lyons

Asa Oliver Lyons, age 79, of Sykesville, died Saturday May 12, 2007 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster , MD. He was born March 9, 1928 in Centerville , PA the son of the late Charles and Hazel Lyons. He worked for Pepco Electric Co. in the Collections Office. He was the father of Cynthia M. Taylor and Danny Lyons. Brother of Ella Gertrude Hiland and Bernard Lyons. Also survived by 4 grandchildren 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Funeral Service will be held on Wed. May 16, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA 1212 W. Old Liberty Road , Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) with the Rev. O.F. “Bud” Kibbe officiating. Interment will be in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery . Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA on Tuesday from 5-9 PM.
