B. Jeanne Burrier (nee Farver), age 73, of Winfield, died Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at her home.
She was born November 14, 1948, in Taylorsville, Maryland, the loving daughter of the late Ruth E. Gosnell (nee Farver), who passed away on January 14, 2020.
She was a 1966 graduate of Mt. Airy High School. Jeanne worked side by side with her husband Charles at the Burrier Funeral Home; and then after selling the funeral home in 1992, which is now Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA., she helped the Funeral Directors and staff in all areas of the business, answering phones, hairdresser, and arranging the funeral luncheons that are held at the Funeral Home.
She helped with her mother at O’Farrell’s Auction Barn for many years and as a food demo agent at BJ’s in Westminster, MD; and was proud in helping Ricky Warner with RK Warner catering. She was a Life member of the Winfield Ladies Auxiliary.
Jeanne was dedicated to the Winfield Community Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She could be seen at every event with a smile on her face, whether it was making her famous tea and coleslaw, serving food, or even doing the dishes.
