Barbara Ann Herrmann (nee Hiltz) died peacefully on her 87th birthday.
Ann is survived by her husband of 58 years, Norman F. Herrmann, four children: Lisa A. Aszklar (Henry) of Annapolis, MD; Jane F. Herrmann of Vienna, VA; Mark F. Herrmann (Tammy) o f Charlotte, NC; and Kathleen L. Mazza (Ralph) of Cary, NC. She also leaves six grandchildren: Sarah and Anne Mazza, Kathryn (Katie) and Kerry Aszklar, and Marshal and Claire Herrmann, and two sisters, Nancy Flaherty and Mildred Eikenberg (Bob), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Ann is predeceased by her parents, James R. and Mildred A. Hiltz, as well as her siblings, Rev. Robert E. Hiltz, Rev. Peter M. Hiltz, John A. Hiltz, David O. Hiltz, and grandson Christopher D. Mazza
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 11 AM at St. Alphonsus Rodrigues Roman Catholic Church 10800 Old Court Rd. Woodstock, MD 21163 followed by burial in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Coastal Hospice (www.coastalhospice.org) or the charity of choice.
