Barbara E. McDonald (nee Fitze), 83 of Sykesville, MD passed away on August 11, 2023.
She was the beloved wife of the late Paul F. McDonald.
She was born September 19, 1939, in Frederick County, MD the daughter of the late Rev. Stewart Fitze and the late Grace Fitze (nee Hamilton).
Barbara was a member of the Carroll County Historical Society. She enjoyed genealogy and gardening.
She was the devoted mother of Pamela A. Sowinski and her husband Mark and Karen L. Hayes. Loving sister of Anna Kilby; Grandmother of Brandon, Justin, Eric, Courtney, and Taylor.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 6-8 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School).
Graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Oak Lawn Cemetery 7225 Eastern Ave, Baltimore, MD 21224.
