Betty Anna Franklin (nee Knill), age 91, of Woodbine, Maryland died Thursday, November 29, 2018 at University of Maryland Shock Trauma, Baltimore, MD.
She was the wife of the late William McKinley Franklin.
She was born October 4, 1927, in Maryland the daughter of the late Roger Samuel Knill and the late Anna Mercer Knill.
She enjoyed traveling, backpack camping, fishing, hiking, skiing, and was a life member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Mt. Airy.
Surviving are Children: Roger W. Franklin (Delores) of Green Valley, AZ, Betty A. Britton (Louie) of Woodbine, Ellen M. Franklin of Woodbine, Susan L. Miley (Mike) of Pasadena, MD and William E. Franklin (Margie) of New Windsor, MD; Also Survived by grandchildren Christopher W. Franklin, Candice N. Vleugels, Ashley A. Schneider and Zackary E. Miley; and great-grandchildren Gabrielle Franklin, William Franklin, Zoe & Zico Vleugels.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home, 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 (beside South Carroll High School).
Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Glenwood, MD.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
