Betty Lee Helen Mayne (nee Hatmaker), age 84, of Mt. Airy, MD, died Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Frederick Memorial Hospital, Frederick, MD.
She was born August 22, 1935 in Tennessee, the daughter of the late Hubert Hatmaker and the late Hazel E. Hatmaker.
She was the wife of Joseph Lee Mayne, Sr. of Mt. Airy, MD
She was a Secretary for Joseph Mayne Well Drilling Company, enjoyed Gardening and canning, Flowers, crocheting, Crafts, and enjoyed life.
Surviving are children, Joseph Mayne, Jr. of Mt. Airy, MD, and his late wife Patricia, John Edward Mayne of Poplar Springs, MD, Donald Mayne and wife Eileen of Westminster, Larry Mayne and wife Gail of Mt. Airy, and Judy Guinn and husband Richard of Shepherdstown, West Virginia; sister of Howard Hatmaker of Georgia; also survived by 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; and one late grandchild.
Family will have a private visitation, funeral and interment.
