Bonnie Lee (Warfield) Ferguson, 69 of Westminster
Died peacefully surrounded by her family at Carroll Hospice Dove House on January 2nd 2016 in Westminster. Born June 12, 1946 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Warfield and the late Thelma Morris Warfield. She was the wife of the late Joseph W. Ferguson, her loving and devoted husband for 37 years.
Bonnie worked for General Electric in Columbia, MD and for the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier in Mt. Airy, MD then as a United States Postal Service maintenance department secretary in Baltimore, MD until the time of a life changing automobile accident in May 2001.
Bonnie enjoyed collecting snowmen, playing bingo at the local volunteer fire departments, was a lover of all animals, and enjoyed vacationing with family in Ocean City, MD. Other memorable pastimes included spending time with her grandchildren, tending to the family farm, and playing the slots in Charlestown, WV. Bonnie enjoyed life, especially during the Christmas season.
Surviving are numerous brothers and sisters; caregiving daughter and son-in-law Tammy Molloy-Layman and Bryon Layman of Westminster, sons Ronald Fangman of Hanover, PA & Michael Ferguson of Westminster; grandchildren Christopher Molloy, Sarah Molloy and fiancée Vaughn Gaffney, Elizabeth Layman, Katelynn Fangman and fiancée Nortie Redding & Kristen Fangman, Alexandra, Carissa and Joey Ferguson, Brian and Ethan Perez; and great-grandchildren Bricen, Mason, & Ava.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. John’s Roman Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St. Westminster, MD 21157 at 11:30 am on January 8, 2016
Internment will be private.
Friends may call from 3-5pm & 7-9pm on Thursday, January 7, 2015 at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A. 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD. (Beside S. Carroll High School.)
