Brita Johnson

Brita L. Johnson (nee Lange), age 67, of Westminster, died Monday, March 28, 2011 at Homewood at Plum Creek of Hanover, PA. She was the daughter of the late Christian Lange and the late Hilda Grav Lange. She was born August 8, 1943 in Denmark. She was the wife of the Thomas Patrick Johnson who died on February 18, 2010. She was the mother of Bridget Jenkins, Niels Johnson, Kirsten Schaub and Lars Johnson. Dear sister of Mogens Lange and Niels Lange. Survived by 11 grandchildren; Joanna, Janel, David, Richard, Katie, Tyler, Chloe, Luke, Elita, Jaydon, and Braden. She was nursing assistant at Carroll County Hospital and Homecare. She raised Scottish Highland Cows. Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 1, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Christ Care Church,(Winfield), 2015 W. Old Liberty Road with the Preston Leyshon officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mt. Airy. MD. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Thursday from 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Christ Care Church, 2015 W. Old Liberty Road, Westminster, MD 21157-7923, C/O Horse Ministry.
