Bruce Hunt Avery, Sr., 84 of Mt. Airy formerly of Norwalk, CT
Passed away January 16, 2018 at the Dove House in Westminster, MD
He was preceded in death by wives Grace Greer Avery and Alice Ester Gronli Avery.
He was a retired Norwalk Firefighter from 1957 to 1992 before moving to Mt. Airy, MD to raise Llamas at Racoon Ridge Farm.
Surviving him are his children: Jennifer Lynn Avery of Fort Worth, TX formerly of Norwalk, CT, Bruce Avery, Jr. and Bob Kensek both of CT, Lorraine Ann and husband Steve of Deltona, FL formerly of Norwalk and Kim Avery Harris O’Neill of Fairfield, CT. 5 Grandchildren Lydia, Ian, Annie, Noah and Hunter and 2 great-grandsons.
A Celebration of his Life will be held Sunday, January 21, 2018 1 to 4 PM at South Norwalk Boat Club, 17 Mack St. Norwalk, CT 06853
