Bruce Moore
January 31, 1965 — April 12, 2023
Bruce A. Moore, age 58, of Woodbine, MD passed away at Carroll Hospital Center on April 12, 2023 following a tough fight with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
He was the son of the late Ronald "Humdinger" and Jean Moore (nee Gartrell), of Woodbine. Bruce was born on January 31, 1965.
He was a loyal employee of Rockville Fuel and Feed for 26 years, with continued hopes to be able to return to work after treatment. In Bruce's younger years, he was an avid martial artist and motocross rider. As he became older and wiser, he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles, tinkering with his Jeep and spending time with his three immensely loved dogs, P.D, Elwood and Jake.
He is survived by his siblings (and their spouses), Garry Moore, Sr. (Elaine), Rhonda Atha (John), Roxanne Cross (Kenneth), son Ryan Shifflett and many loving nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Piney Run Park, 30 Martz Rd, Sykesville, MD on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 2pm in Pavilion #1. The family wishes to send a special thanks to the staff at Carroll Hospital Center for their care and compassion.
