Bruce L. Westling 77 of Woodbine, MD died unexpectedly
Tuesday, October 21, 2014 .
He was born January 4, 1937 in Manhattan, KS the son of Clarence E. and Delpha B. Vernson Westling.
Mr. Westling graduated from Olsburg High School in Olsburg, KS. In 1960 he married Eva McKnight Westling who preceded him in death.
Daughters Linda and husband Lou Miclke, Charlotte Collins, and the late Julia Butcher.
He then married Gloria Becker and has 2 Step-daughters Kimberly and husband Mike Bowling and Jody and husband Tom Vohs. Grandchildren Louie, David, Ashley, Eric, Corey, Jarred and Caleb, Terra and late Chrissy. Step-grandchildren Bradley and Bryse, Shylah and Garrett. 7 Great-Grandchildren and numerous other family members.
Bruce enjoyed NASCAR, and Professional Football. He also liked the outdoors. Most of his life he was in construction worker. He worked in maintenance at Brinton Woods Nursing Home and was a driver for Fogles Septic. He was a member of the National Guard in Manhattan, KS. He was also a deputy sheriff in Manhattan, KS
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, October 26, 2014 1:00 PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 Interment Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Woodbine, MD
The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
