Byron K. Stump, 73 of West Friendship, MD died on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at his home.
He was the husband of Mary Pauline Stump (nee Coriture) for 39 years.
He was born August 28, 1948, in Reading, PA the son of the late Herbert J Stump & Rachel M. Stump (nee Koch).
Byron Served in the United States Navy from 1971 to 1973. He then went to work for Verizon for 30 years, before becoming a Partner in Cyber Ensure for 7 years. He was a member of Howard County Cycle2Health, C4B, Baltimore County Cycling Seniors, and a member of Several Environmental groups. Byron was an avid Cyclist and reader, reading over a thousand books. He also won a chess tournament while serving on a ship in the Navy.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his brothers H. Theodore Stump and wife Dianne M. of Aurora, CO, and Gregory J. Stump & wife Debra of South Windsor, CT. Also survived by his uncle Donald Koch & wife Phyllis of Wernersville, PA, and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
