Carl Nye

Mr. Carl Nye 68 of Woodbine, MD, died January 11, 2012 at Montgomery County General Hospital. He was the spouse of Edith (Layton) Nye. He was born August 4, 1943 in Pittston, PA. The son of the late Carl H. Nye and the late Lillian (Randazza) Sperry. Was employed for 2 years with DC police Department and worked for the Veteran’s Administration in Washington D.C. for 41 years. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps and fought in Vietnam. Surviving in addition to his wife are Daughter and Son-in-law Angela Maria and Billy Joe Delph of Woodbine, MD Brother Robert and wife Debbie Sperry of Syracuse, NY. Brother John and wife Diane Pierson of New Jersey. 4 Granddaughters Anita, Wendye, Joann(Jo Jo Mo Mo) and Mary Delph. Funeral Services will take place Saturday January 14, 2012 10:00 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784. Interment will be in Jennings Chapel Cemetery, Woodbine, MD. The Family will receive friends on Friday January 13, 2011 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
