Passed Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Gilchrist Center, Towson.
Beloved husband of Faith Jarry (Myers) Stanton.
Mr. Stanton was born May 31, 1924 in Woodbine, MD the son of the late Phillip Stanton and Sadie (Dorsey) Stanton.
Mr. Stanton drove Sod and Sanitation Trucks and worked on the farm in Daisey, MD
He was a US Army Veteran, loved to play cards, hunt, fish and spend time with his grand kids.
Devoted father of Virginia Stanton, Dorothy Lewis, Yvonne and husband Melvin Newman, Virgie and husband Ralph Lettau, Howard and wife Janice Smith and Loretta Willis. Dear brother of Dorothy Brown, Erma Prather, Claire and husband Leon Dorsey. Brother-in-laws Martin Myers and John Watts. Also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members.
The family will receive friends at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A. On Thursday, July 21, 2016 10 to 12 noon when Funeral Services will take place 12NOON.
