Carol L. Sturgeon (nee Ecker), 80, of New Windsor, MD passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023.
She was the beloved wife of the late William R. “Randy” Sturgeon for 60 years.
Carol was born May 13, 1943, in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late Charles F. Ecker and the late Jennie M. Ecker (nee Gubernatis)
She enjoyed cooking, crafts, reading, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family.
Carol is survived by her daughters Kim Ravenscroft and husband Keith and Cheryl Wheeler and husband Kerry; Grandmother of Michael Ravenscroft, Brandon Ravenscroft and significant other Sam and her daughter Haleigh, Chad Wheeler, Devin Wheeler and wife Karleigh and Melvin Smith; great-grandmother of Myla, Macy, and Preston.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM with service to follow at 3:00 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School).
Inurnment at a later date at Meadow Branch Cemetery.
