She was the spouse of 38 years to John E. Whitcomb. She was born August 16, 1934 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late Lewis F. Schaffer and late Martha Louise Naperski Schaffer.
Mrs. Whitcomb was a homemaker, Member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Community, Eldersburg, and enjoyed collecting crystal.
Surviving are Son: Lew Whitcomb and Special Friend Vickie Taylor , Daughter-in-law Debbie Whitcomb; Grandson: Craig Whitcomb and Step- Grandchildren: Russell and Christopher Groft.
A Funeral Liturgy will be said on Monday August 23, 2004 at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Community, 915 Liberty Rd. Eldersburg, MD 21784
Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD
The Family will receive friends on Saturday 7-9 and Sunday 3-5 and 7-9 PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME, 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784
