Cecelia J. Wallace (nee Hammersla), 88, of Woodlawn, MD passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024.
She was the former wife of the late Robert Wallace.
She was born March 25, 1936, in Woodlawn, MD the daughter of the late Carl John Hammersla and the late Dorothy Hammersla (nee Buppert).
Cecelia enjoyed painting and doing crafts; she also enjoyed going to Tilghman Island.
She is survived by her sister Janice Block. Also survived by her niece Susan Hall and nephew John Hammersla.
She was preceded in death by her Brother Merker Hammersla and 2 nephews Stephen & Brian Block.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 25, 2024, from 12 Noon to 1 PM at which time the funeral service will begin at 1 PM, at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (beside South Carroll High School).
Interment at Lake View Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association or The American Heart Association.
