Charles Benjamin Deickman, Jr., 84 of Eldersburg, MD formerly of Crisfield, MD, died, Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at his home in Eldersburg, MD. He was the spouse of Ida Ruth Deickman. Mr. Deickman was born February 17, 1922 in Baltimore , MD the son of the late Charles Benjamin Deickman, Sr. and the late Irene Baker Deickman. Mr. Deickman was a retired bread salesman for Schmidt Baking Company. He served in the US . Navy during WWII and was a member of Palestine Lodge #189 A.F. & A. M. Catonsville, MD. Surviving him in addition to his wife are Daughter and son-in-law; Charlotte and Jack Ellard of Sykesville, Daughter and son-in-law Virginia and Albert Barthlow of Hampstead, Sister: Shirley Marr of Catonsville, Brother and Sister-in-law: Earl and Lillian Deickman of Deltona, FL. Grandchildren: Scott, Todd and Dawn. Great-grandchildren: Stephanie, Samantha, Brandon and Zachary and Hunter. Funeral Services will take place Saturday, December 9, 2006 11 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 with Chaplain David Bare of Carroll Hospice officiating. Interment will be in Loudon Park Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.
