Charles Ecker

Charles F. Ecker, Jr. age 87, of Union Bridge died Tuesday May 2, 2006 at Frederick Memorial Hospital, Frederick, MD. He was born on April 26, 1919 in Baltimore, MD the son of the late Charles Francis Ecker, Sr. and the late Adelaide Ecker (nee Schnobel). He was the husband of Mildred “Mitzi” Ecker (nee Adams) and the late Jennie M. Ecker. He was in the oil business. He was a member and Elder of Mt. Paran Presbyterian Church. He was the father of Carol Sturgeon of New Windsor. He is survived by grandchildren Kim Ravenscroft and Cheryl Wheeler, both of New Windsor and 4 great-grandsons. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews and 2 brother & sister-in-laws. Funeral Service will be held Friday May 5, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Paran Presbyterian Church 10308 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD with Pastor Ed Terry officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
