Charles Elmer “Bud” Farley, age 94, of Baltimore, died Thursday, August 29, 2013, at his home.
He was born December 2, 1918 in Baltimore, MD the son of the late Elmer Lee Farley and the late Lillian Louise Farley (nee Hayes).
He was the husband of Betty J. Reincke Farley (nee Russell).
He was a Chief of Sanitation for Baltimore County Department of Public Works. He served in the US Army during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion Post #122 in Owings Mills, MD. He was a member of the Lions Club in Woodlawn. He enjoyed Farming.
He was the father of Patricia Lamb of Frederick, Barbara Renfro of Upperco and the late Charles Benton Farley; step-children: Darlene Carter, Debby Stafford, Denise Litzau; grandfather of Tracey Lumsden, Eric Lamb, Kirbey Farley, Dayne Farley and also survived by 7 great grandchildren.; and numerous step grandchildren.
Visitation for family and Friends will be on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 9:30am-11:00am at Bethany Lane Baptist Church, 3030 Bethany Lane, Ellicott City, MD 21042 with funeral beginning at 11:00 AM at the church with the Rev. Kip Smith officiating.
Interment will be in Lorraine Park Cemetery, Woodlawn, MD immediately after funeral service.
