Charles Honaker
November 22, 1988 — September 10, 2017
Charles Allen (Charlie) Honaker of Eldersburg, Maryland, beloved son of Michael and Susan Honaker, went home to be with Our Lord on September 9. He was only 28 years old.
He is survived by his parents; brothers Michael Matise (Lori) and Brian Matise and his niece and nephew Madeline and Mason Matise and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Charlie was born in Clinton, Maryland on November 22, 1988, and grew up in Columbia, Maryland where he attended kindergarten through high school and graduated with honors. He then attended Howard County Community College on a Rouse Scholarship before transferring and graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held on Thursday September 14, 2017 at South Columbia Baptist Church, 8814 Guilford Road Columbia, Maryland 21046 at 2 PM to be followed by a reception in the church fellowship hall. Charlie was a joy to his family and friends and will be sorely missed.
