Charles E. Main, age 78, of Woodbine, Died, Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, MD.
He was born May 31, 1936 in Middletown, MD the son of the late Woodrow Wilson Main and the late Effie Mahala Dixon Main.
He served in the US Navy, he learned to Barber at his father’s Barber shop in Damascus. He was a Principal and teacher at Lisbon (Mt. Airy) Bible Church, missionary with New Tribes Mission and He pastored at several local churches.
He was the husband of Wanda Lee Main (nee Hamilton).
He was the father of James Main, Kelley Hoffman and husband Clint, Robert Main and wife Karen, Misty Main, David Main and wife Jennifer, CB Main and wife Beth and Andrew Main and the late Jeffrey Allen Main; grandfather of Clint Hoffman, Wyatt, Ashley, Austin and Brian Main, also survived by brother Robert Main and wife Sandie, sister in law Dana Blank and special cousin Carol Ann Henicle and predeceased by brother in law Grayson “Johnny” Blank.
Friends may call at Calvary Baptist Church, 3200 Ridge Road, Westminster, MD 21157, on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM; where Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 27, 2015 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Tim Leaman officiating.
Interment Union Chapel Cemetery, 11109 Daysville Road.
