Charles F. “Chuck” Monninger, Jr., age 78, of Pikesville, died Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Gilchrist Center in Towson, MD.
He was born January 2, 1940 in New York, the son of the late Charles Francis Monninger, Sr. and Mary Deborah Monninger (nee Brennan).
He was the husband of Ruth M. Monninger (nee Lowenthal).
He was a Phys-Ed teacher, coached football, basketball and golf. Enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved warm weather.
Survived by 4 brothers, 2 sisters, 18 nieces and nephews; children- Scott and (Heather) Speert, Michelle and (Michael) Stricker and Allison and (Samuel) Vonella; grandchildren-Brittany Speert, Bryce Speert, Cole Stricker, Zachary Stricker, Garrett Vonella and Tyler Vonella.
Gathering of family and friends will be held at DoubleTree by Hilton 1726 Reisterstown Rd, Pikesville, MD 21208, On Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 1-5 PM.
