Charles Bradley “Chuck” Smith, age 66, of Sykesville, MD., died Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD.

Chuck was born December 14, 1954, in Baltimore, MD the son of the late Charles Frederick “Fritz” Smith and the late Doris Marie Smith (nee Schaeffer).

He was the husband of Amy L. Smith (nee Leppo).

Chuck was a Maryland State Police Trooper; paramedic for Gamber & Community Fire Company and Taneytown Volunteer Fire Company and a Volunteer and member at the Winfield Community Volunteer Fire Department. He loved working in the Pizza Stand during the Winfield Carnival.

Chuck was very much involved in the leadership at Crossroads Community Church in Westminster; enjoyed many mission trips to Nicaragua. He was involved in Special Olympics and Pathfinders for Autism; also, was a Bus Driver for Johnson’s Bus Service.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children; Joshua Bradley Smith, Tara Zimmerman (Jonathan) and Shaena Cook (Jacob), 5 grandchildren Benjamin, Josaphine, Tripp, Hayes, and Emersyn; brother of Linda Spafford, Leslee Ann Arnold, Cheryl Koerner, Scott Smith, and Jeffrey Smith.

Family and friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School) on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, from 2:00 PM- 6:00 PM.

Memorial Service will be held Thursday, November 4, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Winfield Bible Church, 5407 Woodbine Road, Sykesville, MD 21784.

Inurnment Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
