Charles “Sonny” Wright, 89 of Sykesville, MD passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024.
He was the beloved husband of the late Shirley “Boss” Wright (nee Waycaster) for 67 years.
He was born June 12, 1934, in Howard County, MD the son of the late Charles Orville Wright & the late Margaret Lee Wright (nee Nickoles).
Sonny was the owner of Wright’s Hoe Services.
He is survived by his four children Robin, Beverly, Dennis, and Rick, siblings Buddy, Nancy, Mike, and Peggy, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 4-6 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (beside South Carroll High School), where the funeral service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 11 AM.
Interment at Lake View Memorial Park.
