Charlotte Elizabeth Martin Previti, 93, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025. She was born at home in N.E. Washington, D.C., to Dwight and Margaret Martin. She graduated from McKinley Tech High School in Washington, D.C. in 1949.
She worked for Acacia Mutual Life Insurance Company for 20 years. In her earlier years, she belonged to several duckpin bowling leagues.
She married James Richard Previti, (Jim), on her birthday, July 24,1965. He predeceased her on April 17, 2009, at the age of 82 years old. They were married 44 years. She is survived by her only child, Carol Previti. Charlotte has three Grandsons, Timothy Putman, Thomas Putman, Carson Ridgeway, and nephews Dwight and Russell Allnutt.
She was predeceased by her sister Mary Allnutt and her brother Cecil Martin, and in laws Samuel and Pauline Previti, Louis and Lois Previti, and Toby Allnutt.
In her later years, she was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church and enjoyed helping with the baked goods table at church events. She was also a member of Naomi Eastern Star, Marvin Chapel Ladies club, and the Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Department. She enjoyed watching Ravens football, West Virginia Mountaineers football and Baltimore Orioles baseball. She always enjoyed playing with her Grand Scottie dogs and doing search a word puzzles. She will be resting at peace at Fort Lincoln Cemetery with her husband, parents, sister and brother-in-law.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, from 4-7 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. where the Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday March 19, 2025, at 11 am.
