Christopher James Geary, 41 of Mt. Airy, MD passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023.
He was born January 18, 1982, in Pottstown, PA the son of James B. Geary, Jr. and Phyllis J. Geary (nee Leibold).
Chris was employed by Outdoor Illumination, Inc.; Christopher was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend who enjoyed spending time with his three nephews. His interests included golfing and gaming with friends. From a young age, Chris was an animal lover who enjoyed watching wildlife. He was also a car enthusiast and never missed eating crabs with family and friends.
Chris had a quiet personality who always had a smile for you. We knew him as a shy, gentle giant. He was a true friend to everyone he met and always saw the best in people.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his brothers Thomas William Geary, Daniel Patrick Geary & wife Courtney Geary; nephews Jace James Geary, Cole Daniel Geary, and Matthew Kevin Geary.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School), where funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 20, 2023, at 11 AM.
Interment at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
