Died un-expectantly and suddenly on Sunday November 15, 2015 surrounded by his family.
He was the husband of 1 year and Best Friend to Rachel Dembeck Matthews.
Born January 1, 1976 in Silver Spring, MD the son of William Glen Matthews and Susan (Paxton) Matthews of Olney
Chris was a Sales Representative for IBA(Innovative Business Interiors) in Silver Spring. He attended Frostburg State University, was an avid soccer fan and player with his favorite team being Chelsea. Other hobbies included fishing, crabbing and hanging out with his friends.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are grandparents Dorothy and George Paxton, Brother Ryan M. Matthews and Rosa Snyder of Germantown. Father-in-law and mother-in-law Thomas M. and Barbara Callegary Dembeck of Sykesville. Sister-in-law Julie Dembeck and brother-in-law Thomas M. Dembeck. Preceded in death by grandparents Robert J. and Marie M. Matthews.

A Funeral Mass will be said on Saturday, November 21, 2015 12 noon at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 4101 Norbeck Rd. Rockville, MD 20853.
