He was born August 27, 1940 in Roanoke, VA the son of Juanita (Perverall) Leonard and the late Bruce A. Barkley.
He was a computer analyst for The Social Security Administration for 35 years
He enjoyed painting and spending time with family.
Surviving him in addition to his mother are Former Spouse Marsha Long of Taneytown, Son Kenneth and wife Lotes Barkley of Wasilla, Alaska, Daughter Shari Barkley-Green and husband Rick Green of Westminster, Sister Linda Kachinski, Brothers Andy and Paul Barkley and Ronnie Leonard. Grandchildren Shannon Green-Bray, Joseph Barkley, Heather Green, Melissa Barkley-Larsen. Great-granddaughter Grace Bray. Also survived by his dog Zuma. Preceded in death by Partner Don Cameron, Sister Edna Callin and Brothers Dennis Barkley, David and Michael Leonard.
