Claudia L. White, 78, of Westminster, MD passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Carroll County Hospital in Westminster, MD.
She was born August 9, 1945, in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late Bud Merryman and the late Rose Merryman
She was the wife of the late Emory Worth White, Jr.
She retired from the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics lab after 35 years.
She is survived by her son David Bledsoe and stepdaughter Elizabeth Werrell & husband John. She is the grandmother of Heather & Jason Bledsoe, step grandmother of Katie Werrell; great-grandmother of Andrew, Austin, Erin, Mia, and Jac and great-great grandmother of Christian. Also survived by her sister Linda and stepsister Lori.
She was preceded in death by her son Billy Bledsoe and siblings Bud, Pat, Shirley, and Jeanne.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 13, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School), where funeral service will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 12:30 PM
Interment Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
