Clyde Mitter

Clyde D. Mitter 76 of New Windsor, MD, died Monday December 12, 2011 at the Dove House. He was the spouse of the late Harriet Louise (Wright) Mitter. He was born August 14, 1933 in West Virginia the son of the late Woodrow Wilson”Chuck” Mitter and Late Iva Powell Mitter. He was retired US Air force and also retired from Springfield State Hospital. Was a member of American Legion Post 23 Point Pleasant WV. He is predeceased by a son Clyde Russell Mitter. Surviving are Daughter and son-in-law Rhonda Elizabeth and Steven Allen Zile of New Windsor, Son James Dacie Mitter of New Windsor. Grandchildren: Steven H and wife Stacy Zile, Crystal L. Zile, Tina M and Husband Daniel Keys Adam C. And Nikki Zile and Andrew Mitter. Funeral Services will be held Thursday December 15, 2011 10 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 with Rev. O.F. “Bud” Kibbe officiating. Interment in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. The Family will receive friends on Wednesday 5 to 8 PM Those desiring may make contributions to Carroll Hospice 292 Stoner Ave. Westminster, MD 21784.
