Colleen Mary Keirle, 62, of Westminster, died peacefully Monday, May 12, at her home with her husband and children by her side.
Mrs. Keirle was the beloved spouse of Gary Bruce Keirle for 42 years. She was born June 17, 1951, in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of the late William Edison Graham and the late Mary Louise Prestianni Ruskell. She was a graduate of Mount de Sales Academy and worked in Finance until becoming ill in 1998. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, gardening, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Surviving in addition to her husband are son Seth Matthew Keirle of Westminster; daughter Katie Lee Keirle of Westminster; guardian and Uncle Sam and wife Bobbi Prestianni of Howard County; brother William and wife Diane Graham of NH; sister Michelle and husband Hank Smith of Graysonville, MD; and brother-in-law Ron McGowan of Centreville, MD. She is also survived by numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by sister Janice McGowan.
Mrs. Keirle wanted to be remembered in life, not death; therefore, a very private service was held for her husband and two children. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
