Cyril “Benny” Laughlin, age 61, of Mt. Airy, a friend and neighbor to many passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD.
He was born September 19, 1953 in Maryland, the son of the late Dr. Kenneth Francis Laughlin and Margaret Wilburn Laughlin.
He will be dearly missed by Donna Smagala, beloved Mate and Mother to Brittany Smagala-Tennant wife to Robbie Tennant and Brett Smagala husband to Kim Smagala
He was a gifted cook, talented wood worker and lover of outdoors.
He is survived by brothers and sisters Daniel J. Laughlin of Cary, NC, Kathleen L. Campagnolo of Silver Spring, MD and Laura Jane Nair of Largs, Scotland, nieces Ann-Casey Campagnolo of Morristown, NJ, Mary Elizabeth Ciotti of Bethesda, MD, Deborrah Ellen Campagnolo of Washington, DC, Christine Hughes of Wilmington, NC, and Danielle Jones of Oakland Park, FL, grandniece Laura Jane Ciotti of Bethesda, MD.
