Died Sunday May 19, 2013 at home. He was the spouse of the late Rosa Jones McDaniel. He was born February 3, 1930 in Mabscott, WV.
The son of the late David Reed McDaniel and the late Lottie (Mann) McDaniel.
He was a painter for the U.S. Federal Government. An Avid Bingo Player. Loved to spend time with his grandchildren and play practical jokes.
Surviving are Son David R. McDaniel of Sykesville, Daughter Brenda Grace McDaniel of Sykesville formerly of Herndon, VA Grandchildren Christie Rosa Smith , Bobbie Joe Smith, Jesse W. Smith, Jeremiah McDaniel, Cheyenne McDaniel, Thomas McDaniel, Katie Neal, Emily Dawson. Preceded in death by Sons late James Albert McDaniel and late Roger Lee McDaniel. Son-in-law late Joseph Wayne Smith and Sister late Joyce Bays
The Family will receive friends on Wednesday May 22, 2013 10 AM until 11 AM when a Service will take place at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784. Interment will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Herndon, VA Wed at 2PM.
