David Samuel Tyler, age 81, of Eldersburg, died on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at BridgingLife -Dove House in Westminster, MD.
He was born October 15, 1942, in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of the late George Samuel Tyler and the late Thelma Jane Tyler (nee Russell).
He was the husband of Barbara L. Tyler (nee Parr) for 61 years.
David, before his retirement, followed in his father’s footsteps and became a Car Mechanic. His hobbies were restoring antique cars and teaching his sons everything he could about auto mechanics. David enjoyed taking his finished projects to car events both near and far. More recently, his real pleasure was spending time with friends and family sharing a meal and comradery.
Surviving in addition to his wife are sons David Scott Tyler and wife Melissa; Richard Tyler and wife Barbara and Todd Tyler and wife Pennie; sister Jane Kolbe and husband Bud; Grandchildren Jonathan and Heather Romans; Nick and Courtney Suter, Kelbe Suter and Matt; Cory Suter and Anna; great grandchildren Carly, Devin, Reagan, Remi, Kyler and Finn; Niece and nephew Keith And Kimmi; also survived by his car show friends.
