Dennis Maynard Kane, 92, of Westminster, MD passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024.
He was the beloved husband of the late Nancy Lea Kane (nee Rote) his wife of 52 years.
He was born August 28, 1931, in Baltimore, MD the son of the late Theodore Maynard Kane and Olga Anna Kane (nee Gawel).
Dennis worked as a sheet metal mechanic for Union Local 100 for 38 years. He was a veteran of the Unted States Navy, where he served as an Aviation Mechanic aboard the aircraft carrier USS Coral Sea. He was a founding member of the Maryland Competition Riders, Baltimore Ramblers Motorcycle Club, he was a 32nd degree Mason, Moose Lodge of Westminster, MD and VFW Post 467. Dennis was an avid Reader and puzzler who loved motorcycles and Maryland Crabs.
He is survived by his children Linda Dayhoff & husband Scott, Denise Vizzini & husband Jeff, Laura Logue & husband Doug and Brandon Kane and wife Cheryl; sister Patricia Kane Graham & husband Don; grandfather of Bryan Derrickson, Evan Dayhoff, Lea Nappier, Eric Vizzini, Kellee DiAngelo, Douglas Logue, Cameron Ross, Natalie Byers and Garrett Kane;14 great grandchildren and his beloved dog Raven.
Services will be private.
Private interment at Arlington National Cemetery.
